Wherever "there" happens to be...

Finding Balance Amidst Chaos

Chores can feel impossible to manage, especially while chasing a 2 1/2-year-old around all day. A busy work schedule, constant travel, and a home that feels chaotic can be overwhelming. Add a dog or two that need extra care and exercise, and it’s easy to feel guilty for not being present. And let’s not even talk about that kitchen counter buried under papers since Christmas!

"There" can also describe someone who feels nervous about asking for help. Often, we are the helpers, not the ones seeking assistance. This can lead to feelings of vulnerability and embarrassment. It’s common to worry that giving up control is terrifying. The perfectionist in us might think that things won’t be done "our way" and will need correction. Sometimes, we feel too overwhelmed to even ask for help, as that seems impossible.

A Warm Invitation

I want to meet you there. With curiosity, without judgment, and a willingness to listen. When you invite me into your home to care for your pets or help sort through chaos, I come with an open heart. During our initial Care Connection, I won’t be looking for messes to fix. I won’t dictate how your space should look or make unnecessary changes just to earn a few extra bucks. My goal is to teach you how to maintain or improve your space after I leave. I want my time with you to be as productive as possible.

The Care Connection I provide isn’t about entering a perfect home; it’s about embracing a lived-in space. I don’t expect perfection; I expect to see life happening. Helping you with your space and pets is my primary focus. Cleaning before I arrive isn’t necessary. I understand that urge, as I would feel the same way. But rest assured, I will never judge or inspect. I won’t box you into a category or label you. It’s just us, and we can talk for as little or as long as you’d like.

Your Needs Matter

I will listen, ask questions, and take notes. I will offer options that fit your budget. Together, we will decide which tasks I will complete in your home. You’ll be included in the process, ensuring that everything is done to your satisfaction. That’s why I don’t call this service a consultation. Instead, I named it "The Care Connection." It’s so much more than a simple consult. Just like Paw & Order is more than pet sitting, house cleaning, and organizing.

Think about it: you typically seek a connection before going on a date. A potential employer looks for a connection during a job interview. Our journey begins with our Care Connection, ensuring that you and your pets feel comfortable and all your questions are answered.

Embracing Help

So, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, I’m here for you. Just give me the address, and I’ll meet you wherever you’d like.

If you reach out for help—regardless of what it is—I am proud of you. That step isn’t easy.

"Now more than ever, we need a home that serves us, that fills us up rather than drains us... a home that is a sanctuary from the world out there."
